The C-Change Quarterly Report will provide a summary of project activities that occur within the communities, including meetings with the Community Advisory Boards, with community partners, and meetings among co-applicants and collaborators applicable to community affairs.
The C-Change Quarterly Report will also provide a record of monitored activities. Examples of community activities to date include: (i) The town of Gibsons design charette exercise, October 28-30, 2009 to establish a vision of the harbour area for which the project champion for Gibsons, Ralph Matthews and his doctoral student were invited to participate, and (ii) an invitation from the Eastern Nova Scotia Planning Commission to Isle Madame Champion Lane to attend and provide comment on the Integrated Community Sustainability Plan (ICSP) for Richmond County, July 28, 2009 in Arichat, Nova Scotia.
On the Caribbean side, activities include visits to Georgetown, Guyana by co-applicant (Michael Sutherland) and a Master’s student in December 2009-January 2010, and to Grand’Riviere, Trinidad by Sutherland and a group of undergraduate students whose research involves working on various aspects of the Grand’Riviere community.
